Customer Direct Debit Request (DDR) Agreement
This document outlines our service commitment to you, in respect of the Direct Debit Request (DDR) arrangements made between Surpass Business Solutions Pty Ltd and yourself. It also sets out your rights and your responsibilities to us together with where you can obtain assistance.
How to Contact Us / Enquiries
Direct all enquiries to us, rather than to your financial institution. These should be made at least 7 working days prior to the next scheduled drawing date. Phone: 1300 228 876 | Fax: 07 3319 6875 | E-Mail: sales@surpass.com.au | Mail: Vertu Building, 12 Kerry Rd, Archerfield Q4108. All communication addressed to us should include your company details.
Our Commitment to You
We undertake to periodically debit your nominated account for the agreed amount. The first drawing will occur on the date nominated on the Direct Debit Request. If any drawing falls due on a non-business day, it will be debited on the next business day. We will give you at least 14 days notice in writing, by e-mail or by phone when changes to the initial terms are made, stating the new amount, frequency, next drawing date and any other change. Any changes must be agreed by both parties in advance.
Your Rights
You may contact us to defer a drawing, alter the schedule, stop an individual debit, suspend the DDR, or cancel the DDR completely. All personal customer information held by us will be kept confidential except information provided to our financial institution to initiate the drawing.
Disputes
If you believe a drawing has been initiated incorrectly, please contact us directly. If you do not receive a satisfactory response, contact your financial institution, who will respond within 5 business days (claims lodged within 12 months of the disputed drawing) or within 30 business days (claims lodged more than 12 months after). You will receive a refund of the drawing amount if we cannot substantiate the reason for the drawing.
Your Commitment to Us
It is your responsibility to ensure that your nominated account can accept direct debits, that there are sufficient cleared funds on the drawing date, and that you advise us if the nominated account is transferred or closed. This agreement will automatically renew unless 30 days written notice is given.
If debiting from a joint bank account, both signatures are required.
